Point Pleasant Beach, NJ (January 1, 216) –

Atlantic City residents and Business will be the first market to experience Hammer Fiber's revolutionary wireless technology. Hammer Fiber Optic Investments, the New Jersey based Fiber Services provider, has announced plans to launch a direct to consumer platform in Atlantic City.  They have partnered with Global Reach Communications and are using their proprietary high capacity wireless technology to deliver High speed Internet service, VoIP telephone service, and IPTV service to the Atlantic City area, providing those residents with another option for their service provider.

“We were able to identify a need in the market,” says Mark Stogdill, Hammer Fiber’s CEO, “there’s very little choice for service provider’s in Atlantic City and Hammer Fiber is ready to deliver a new, better option for consumers.”

By utilizing the Global Reach Communications' proprietary architecture in their technology, Hammer Fiber will be deploying fiber-through-the-air services via their wireless network, in conjunction with running a direct fiber infrastructure.  The pilot program will include a trial period for the first 500 subscribers on network, prior to the secondary launch, which is slated to cover all of Atlantic City and parts of the surrounding townships.  Hammer Fiber is employing this technology to deliver traditional triple play services in the Atlantic City Market using non-traditional methods of deployment.  Given the technology at their disposal and its ability to deliver extremely high bandwidth, Hammer Fiber expects that customer acquisition will be rapid.

In conjunction with the launch of the pilot, Hammer Fiber will be implementing a subscriber cap, ensuring that their network is never overloaded, and further safeguarding their customer’s satisfaction.  The cap is intended to ensure that the network capacity is never met and that the user experience is consistent and smooth, an experience the company feels is not currently available to the average consumer in the area.
